May Have Done the Math Wrong on That One

Why you shouldn't take an eleven hour flight, drink the equivalent of 32 demitasses of espresso in 12 hours and then realize, " Hey, I have good internet for a change. I should be Skyping!":

You end up calling your brother's house at 2:45 in the morning to ask your beloved and understanding sister-in-law if she has your brother's work phone number.

Hey, in my head it all seemed perfectly fine. France is two hours behind Madagascar time. It's 9:45 here in Paris, so it's two hours different again in the US. That makes it 7:45 am in Chicago. Yeah, they'll be up; they have three kids.

Yes, I know there are a thousand things wrong with the calculations. I point you once again to the 32 equivalent cups of espresso.

Now, if you don't mind I'm going to go run up and down the Eiffel tower a couple of times until this buzz wears off.

I was there when Chad took the "I Love Paris" photo in Montmartre--so this is at least one case where he isn't lying...bragging maybe, but not lying. I have to admit he does have a good eye and I stole his idea and took the same shot.

I could definitely go for hitting a couple pastry shops in the Marais. Was it Rue des Rosiers where we went to that amazing Jewish patisserie? Google maps has a pretty cool feature where you get a street level view of Rue des Rosiers and I think I spotted the very place. Enjoy!

Have already eaten three honey balls from said bakery my friend. They still got the touch. Will have a crepe for you as soon as I can. Would you care for a hame and cheese or butter and lemon?

Sorry for the typo in that last comment. "Hame and cheese" obviously should have been "shame and cheese".

But seeing as we just had two lovely grilled leek and guilt frittatas yesterday, we will probably go for the butter and lemon crepes anyway.

All the food there is great!--spent the day in NYC with my mom and had some great food so for once I'm not too jealous. We went up to the roof of the Met--we're having gorgeous weather...seems to me the last two times I've been up on the roof of the Met were with you and Cindy and now with my mom...which means I better work on my dating skills.
